The veterinary office manager is responsible for seeing that administrative policies and decisions are accomplished on a day to day basis. The purpose of this position is to supervise, direct, plan and coordinate a variety of service functions that are principally work-supporting on a day to day basis to the Cape Horn Veterinary Associate's team. These service functions include, but are not limited to, reception (visitor and telephone), maintenance of veterinary medical records, accounts maintenance, cash processing, procurement of administrative supplies and equipment, mail service, typing and word processing, data transcribing and retailing of sundry veterinary items. Flexible hours that fall into schedule with rotation with other staff a must including 1-2 evening shifts per week, opening, closing and Saturday morning rotation. Management, HR, and accounting experience preferred.
Veterinary office experience as technician, manager, receptionist, or assistant. Experience in management and team leadership a must.
