We are a group of very successful and busy small animal practices seeking a practice manager for the largest, Morningside Animal Hospital. The hospitals are privately-owned by two veterinarians, who practice and manage. We are able to make all of our own decisions, without having to answer to a corporation. We pride ourselves on being progressive, knowledgeable, and providing exceptional customer service, while still retaining a fun, laid back work environment that allows our staff to enjoy the Florida lifestyle.
This job opening has the opportunity for the right candidate to manage certain aspects of all the hospitals, in addition to the day-to-day management of Morningside. As we grow, the need for a flexible, versatile, knowledgeable candidate becomes more and more necessary. We need someone who can help take us to the next level, and continue on our mission of treating our clients and patients in the best possible way we are able to.
This includes duties such as; staff training, evaluations, communication and meetings, payroll, marketing projects, ordering and inventory, liaison to vendors, internal accounting and associate veterinarian's prosal calculations, coordinating facility maintenance, client communications, and generating financial reports, to name a few.
We also put emphasis on; collaborating well with the other managers and staff, full knowledge of our practice software (Avimark), high levels of professionalism, attending CE opportunities, being a leader and integral part of the management team, assisting the owner and other managers in many decisions and brainstorming on ways to continue to improve our practices' profitability, service, and community efforts.
