We are searching for a veterinarian for a clinic in Houston. This high volume spay/neuter Staff Surgeon position is at a well-respected non-profit who is known for their successful surgeries and compassionate care in the community. Do you have or will you soon have your DVM degree? Are you a ‘can-do’ person with a ‘pitch-in and make a difference’ attitude? Then we would like to hear from you to explore this opportunity further! Our ideal veterinarian has a deep, personal passion for our mission, is committed to serving the people and pets in Texas, and is an outstanding communicator. Candidates must have, at a minimum, a DVM and be eligible to obtain a license to practice veterinary medicine in Texas and eligible to obtain a DEA license. We prefer at least one year of experience as a high volume spay/neuter surgeon (25-30 surgeries five-hour shift), however Training is available for candidates with a strong desire and aptitude to become successful high volume surgeons and who demonstrate outstanding culture fit.
