Our staff are highly trained and committed. We offer Digital Radiography, Logiq P5 Ultrasound, Telemedicine, flexible Endoscopy, and an in-house lab. Demographics and Environment:
College Village Animal Clinic has provided veterinary services in Anchorage, Alaska for over 40 years. We were founded in 1968 and are AAHA certified. Our patient base is approximately 60% Canine, 30% Feline, 7% Avian and 3% other species and we treat an average of 25 - 40 animals each day. Our efforts are directed towards maximizing the quality of life in all of our patients recognizing their status as valued family members.
Anchorage is surrounded by six mountain ranges. Chugach State Park to the east is the third largest state park in America - a half-million acres of accessible hiking, skiing, camping, wildlife viewing, snow machining, rafting, and climbing. It has four wolf packs, 250 black bear, 60 brown bear, 1000+ moose as well as mountain goats, eagles, and Dall sheep. Beluga whales frequent Cook Inlet. Flight time: Seattle 3:30, Salt Lake 4:30, Los Angeles 5:30, Minneapolis 5:30, NYC 9:30+stop, Atlanta 9:30+stop. Anchorage population: 299,637 (2016). Alaska population: 739,828 (2016 estimate)
