About Us
Lanvale is located in Leland, just minutes from downtown Wilmington, in the Cape Fear area of North Carolina, and the fastest growing town in the state. The small animal general medicine hospital is led by veterinarian-owner Dr. Scott Pett, who has 35 years of experience and a proven track record of operating a highly regarded veterinary hospital prior to moving to North Carolina. Since arriving in the area five years ago, Dr. Pett has built a strong reputation for excellence in veterinary care. Lanvale continues that legacy, earning a warm welcome from the community and experiencing steady, ongoing growth.

Office hours:  Monday through Friday 8 AM – 5 PM, Saturdays 8 AM – 12 PM. 
Work life balance built into our culture with emergency cases seen during regular office hours; no       on-call responsibilities, no boarding.
What We’re Looking For
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree with min. 2+ years experience 
      Current NC veterinary license (unrestricted, unencumbered), Current Federal DEA License and
NC USDA license (preferred, or able to obtain)
Dedicated to continuous learning, collaborative teamwork, and fostering a culture of shared growth
Proficiency with surgery and medicine; intraoral digital radiography and surgical dental extractions preferred
Ability to maintain a positive, solutions-focused attitude and deliver excellent customer service
Thrives in an environment where communication and teamwork are key
Committed to leading by example and helping to support the success of the team members, the hospital and the client experience.

Requirements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary school
Licensed in NC
Minimum 2 years experience
Proficiency in general medicine, soft tissue surgery and dentistry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to high-quality patient care and client education
Values collaboration with fellow veterinarians and a skilled support team to deliver the best patient outcomes
Willingness to participate in continuing education and stay current with veterinary advancements
