Job Description
We are seeking a PRN (as-needed) Urgent Care Veterinarian to provide coverage during peak times, vacations, and schedule gaps. This role is ideal for veterinarians seeking supplemental income, schedule flexibility, or relief-style work without overnight shifts.
Our facility is designed to support efficient, high-quality urgent care medicine, allowing you to focus on patient care while working alongside an experienced and supportive clinical team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide urgent care services in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Perform medical treatments and soft-tissue surgeries as needed
- Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to deliver excellent patient outcomes
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent degree.
- Valid veterinary license in Louisiana
- Experienced in surgery and comfortable handling a variety of cases.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
