We are dedicated to caring for our patients in the same manner as we care for our own animals. About Hoosick Falls, NY
Hoosick Falls is a rural community located in Rensselaer County. One of the area’s greatest resources is its scenic beauty. Rolling hills, mountains, and the two rivers the Walloomsac and the Hoosic, which wind throughout the area, provide visitors and residents alike with breathtaking views and tranquil, private spots to enjoy the simple country pleasures of hiking, canoeing, picnicking, and spectacular fishing.
Located within 30 minutes of the clinic is Williamstown, MA home to Williams College as well as Bennington, VT, home to Bennington College.
Requirements
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for an individual who is motivated to plan a long term future with our clinic. Applicants must display a positive attitude and strong work ethic. As we are a closely knit group you must be a team player that can communicate and collaborate effectively with technicians and other staff members. All are encouraged to apply including new graduates to senior veterinarians.
Preferable services to provide:
Annual wellness exams and routine health care
Geriatric care
Dentistry
Nutritional counseling
General surgery
Spaying and neutering
Euthanasia/cremation
Digital x-ray
Ultrasonography
In-house laboratory and pharmacy
Qualifications
DVM or equivalent veterinary licensure, in good standing with the applicable state board.
2+ years of clinical experience preferred though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong ability to communicate and interpersonal skills to help build a loyal long term client base.
Enthusiastic about leveraging technology to advance veterinary care and improve client/pet experiences.
Highly collaborative, adaptable, and ready to learn.
