Description
Jackson Creek Veterinary Clinic is seeking a full- or part-time associate to join our small animal general practice in Northern California. We have served our loyal clientele since 1996 and take pride in our long-lasting relationships within our community, including many local animal rescues. We provide a wide range of services, such as soft tissue surgery, digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, acupuncture, and in-house labs. We are located an hour away from the many referral facilities in the Sacramento area, and we work with nearby specialists when needed. We also have more exposure to complex medical and surgical cases when clients prefer to keep their pets in-house. Jackson Creek is the perfect place to hone your craft as a well-rounded clinician. Our enthusiastic team of assistants and RVTs supports our associates in all facets of patient care, allowing you to focus on practicing medicine.
All applications will be kept confidential.
Candidate Requirements
Our ideal candidate is friendly, compassionate, a good communicator, and motivated to care for pets and people. Shelter medicine, HQHVSN, or exotic/wildlife experience is a plus, but the freedom to pursue your niche in veterinary medicine is encouraged. Must be licensed to practice in California.

Jackson Creek Veterinary Clinic is in the beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills with something for everyone. Our county is also home to over 40 award-winning and delicious wineries! We are less than 2 hours from Sacramento, Lake Tahoe, & the SF Bay Area. Our little corner of the foothills is a great place for anyone wanting to settle down in a quiet country setting, but close enough to the city that you won't miss a beat.
