Position Overview
Aloha Veterinary Center is seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our professional medical team. This position encompasses a combination of general practice and emergency care responsibilities, with rotating shifts designed to ensure comprehensive patient coverage while maintaining work-life balance. Overnight emergency duties are not required.
The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and collaborative veterinarian committed to delivering the highest standards of patient care and client service. Strong clinical judgment, clear communication skills, and a commitment to continuous professional development are essential. Both experienced practitioners and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Aloha Veterinary Center provides a structured and supportive environment that fosters medical excellence, mentorship, and long-term professional growth.
Salary: $150,000-$200,000

Located in Hilo, our newly constructed, fear-free facility features:
5 exam rooms and 2 surgical suites
Open central treatment area with dental table
In-house laboratory and pharmacy
Digital radiology
Dental x-ray
CO2 laser and cold laser therapy
Our growing team currently includes three full-time veterinarians supported by a talented and friendly staff. We are expanding to meet the needs of our community — and we’d love for you to join us.
Requirements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary school
Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the state of Hawaii
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Compassionate, client-focused approach to patient care
New graduates welcome — mentorship and training are provided
DEA Certification (Preferred)
