Location: Tallahassee, Florida
Position: Full-Time Associate Veterinarian
Ox Bottom Animal Hospital, a respected and community-focused small-animal practice in beautiful North Tallahassee, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our growing team. Our hospital is known for its high standard of care, friendly environment, and strong relationships with clients and their pets.

We are also proudly partnered with our sister clinic, Cumberland Animal Clinic in Havana, FL. Together, our hospitals share a unified mission of compassionate, community-focused veterinary care. This partnership allows our veterinarians access to shared resources, additional caseload variety, collaborative case discussions, and a broader professional support network—while still preserving the warm, family-like culture of each individual clinic.
Job Description
What You’ll Do
- Deliver high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care to small-animal patients
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, focusing on education and trust
- Work closely with our skilled support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records

Who We’re Looking For
- DVM/VMD degree with a Florida veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A team-oriented mindset with a passion for patient care
- Dedication to client education and long-term relationships
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
- Active veterinary state license in Florida
- Current DEA License preferred but not required
- USDA Accreditation preferred but not required
