Granite Veterinary Emergency, Trauma & Specialty (Granite VETS) is excited to offer the opportunity to join our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in beautiful Bedford, New Hampshire. We’ve meticulously designed our facility with one simple goal: help you treat your patients, clients, coworkers and yourselves better.

The Facility

 Many hospitals like to advertise “state-of-the-art”, but at Granite VETS we utilized years of experience in numerous hospitals, new and old, and a design team specializing in human facilities to truly design a cutting-edge building. From the custom Nora flooring, easy clean stainless-steel cabinetry, and spacious, flexible space throughout to the elegant lobby fireplace, extensive workspace options, and the roof top employee patio with beautiful city and mountain views and plenty of sunshine, we designed the hospital to comfort the patients, clients and the employees equally.

Beyond the structural components we equipped this hospital with the newest and best technology available. Custom OR booms equipped with Arthrex integration and scoping equipment (including NIR system), brand-new Siemens 64 slice CT, hydraulic lift radiology table, portable intraoperative radiography, full and mini C-arms, a full array of in-house lab testing, vast array of Sontec surgical instruments, a complete array of all Arthrex implants, Biomedtrix I-Loc and THR in all sizes and a space for a custom-built MRI trailer. This is just the beginning. Stop fighting to get the best because we plan on continuing to seek it and provide it.

The Location

New Hampshire is undoubtedly one of the United States’ best kept secrets. Most recently it was ranked 2025 Best States to Raise a Family by Consumer Affairs and was just named the United Health Foundation’s Healthiest State for the fourth year in a row. The beautiful four seasons and accessibility to a variety of activities for all ages and all interests are what make it so special.  Granite VETS is conveniently located in Bedford, an upscale town of roughly 25,000 people with the best schools in the state (although most all the schools are top ranked in the nation). The hospital is minutes away from the major interstate 93 which allows easy access to the mountains, seacoast, lakes region, and city life from the direct adjacent city of Manchester or a short 50-minute drive into downtown Boston, Mass. The hospital is just minutes from Manchester Airport. This great, clean, easy in, easy out airport served by most major airlines to many major US hubs- including direct flights to snow-bird at the beaches in Florida and the Carolinas.
