Description
Countryside Equine Hospital is growing, and we’re excited to welcome a new Associate Veterinarian to our team. If you’re looking for a progressive, team-oriented practice that values high-quality equine medicine and the relationships we build with our customers, we’d love to meet you. Our mission is simple: support the health, performance, and longevity of every horse we serve — from elite sport horses to beloved pasture pets.
We are currently a four-doctor practice supported by a fantastic team of dedicated staff members. Ambulatory service is the heart of what we do, but our doctors also enjoy a varied caseload involving advanced internal medicine workups, emergency care, sports medicine, podiatry, and dentistry. You’ll have a fully-stocked ambulatory vehicle, plus access to our haul-in clinic equipped with everything you need for diagnostics and procedures.
Our facility is equipped with a surgical suite, padded recovery stall, 9-stall barn, 3 treatment rooms, and in-house labratory capabilities including CBC, Chemistry, Insulin, and SAA. We strive to utilize the latest technology— including digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, shockwave and laser therapies, and cutting-edge surgical equipment. From diagnosis to discharge, we believe that providing the best care starts with having the right tools.
We’re looking for a veterinarian who enjoys practicing excellent medicine in a supportive, collaborative environment and who truly values educating and connecting with customers. Compensation is production-based, with a base salary tailored to your experience level. Emergency on-call is shared among all doctors.
Benefits include:
- Fully stocked practice vehicle
- AAEP, AVMA, and GVMA dues paid
- Health insurance
- Paid vacation/sick time (minimum two weeks)
- CE support — your continuing education is a priority
- Malpractice and liability insurance
