We are Pet Cure, a privately owned  group of 7 veterinary hospitals located in Los Angeles county and the Inland Empire in southern California.  Our locations are in Reseda, two in Palmdale, Lancaster, Calimesa, Loma Linda and Rancho Cucamonga. 

All of our hospitals have a strong focus on seeing all patients that walk through the doors, including walk-ins and emergencies. We offer Emergency and Urgent Care services to ensure that the communities we serve have access to the best veterinary care when they need it most.  

Our externs will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of more than 20 doctors to receive mentorship and guidance as they finish their studies and begin their careers.

It is important that our externs have the following skills:

Ability to show compassion to both pets and their owners
Outstanding dexterity in handling animals while performing precise tasks
Ability to react quickly and make decisions under pressure about the wellbeing of an animal
Strong fondness and understanding of animals
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of animal behavior
Ability to use medical technologies during diagnosis, research and surgery of animals
