Minimum Required
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from AVMA accredited University
- Active California Veterinary License in good standing
- Willingness to become Cat Friendly and Fear Free Certified
Preferred:
- 1 or more years clinical experience
About Cat Tales Feline Health Center
Cat Tales is the premier feline health center in Davis, CA. Opened in Fall 2024, Cat Tales is independently owned by two seasoned veterinarians — Julie Cole Shacoski and Chris “Shac” Shacoski. The practice provides more than clinical care for cats: our goal is to help cats flourish. We have longer appointments to allow time to build a relationship with each cat and the people they own. This allows us time for listening, for full examinations, and for discussion of personalized care plans that will address health care needs and the lifestyle options to enable each unique cat to be healthy, calm, comfortable and at peace. Cat Tales has a cat lounge where all are welcome to visit with feline adoptees and enjoy a purrfect break. The cat lounge encourages feline fans to find their next family member; we have helped over 60 cats find their new family in the past year! We also offer grooming and medical boarding for existing clients.
