- Full or Part time Flexibility for Associate Veterinarian

Coastal Veterinary Care is a privately owned small animal AAHA accredited practice located in sunny Myrtle Beach, SC that is growing and seeking a full or part time associate veterinarian. Practice on the coast where cost of living is reasonable, colleges and excellent schools are nearby for significant others or kids, and many there are great locations nearby to find housing. Nearby areas for housing include Myrtle Beach or the hallmark-like town of Conway, SC; or coastal Calabash, NC; all of which are growing with job opportunities for a loved one if needed. Like to travel? Charleston, SC and the mountains of NC are all within a reasonable driving distance and we have the Myrtle Beach International Airport as well for easy access to flights. Myrtle Beach is one of the fastest growing cities in that nation and not only has some of the most popular beaches around but also many things to do such as golfing, Top Golf, shopping, shows and attractions, and more.
Coastal Veterinary Care will offer a defined mentorship program for new graduates. For either experienced or new veterinarians we allow a work-life balance so you can be at your best and enjoy working long-term as a veterinarian too. We offer flexibility for your schedule and are open to a conversation about benefits and needs. We treat our experienced support staff well and recognize they are valuable team members too so you'll have a great group to join.
We are open to a moving allowance and competitive compensation package for full time employees. We offer 5 weeks total PTO for experienced veterinarians (18 days total PTO for new graduates), 3 days and $2,000 CE allowance, Licenses and Dues, health insurance stipend, critical illness/life insurance/short term disability/dental/vision insurance package, and 401(k) with 3% match. Non solicitation clause; no non compete. Again stressing flexible scheduling. Our goal is to treat you well so you stay and encourage your growth because we can't be at our best without an excellent team.
Imagine walking into a clean, organized clinic with systems and a friendly support staff that works well as a team. We are not high volume as we focus on excellent patient care and excel in dermatology, internal medicine, and preventive care as well as urgent care. Option to do surgery if you love it (or not as we have a relief veterinarian that can enjoys surgery). We have in house digital radiology and lab machines, and an internal medicine level ultrasound offering full abdominal ultrasounds. Check us out and come see why you'll love being part of the team!
Hours of Operation are Monday-Friday (hello noooo weekends!) 8:00AM-4:00PM (usually out the door by 4:30PM; once a week may be later if able to stay)
