Description
Coyote Ridge is a non-corporate, locally owned, private practice offering a full suite of services including general wellness, urgent care and specialty care to a wide range of clientele. We are looking for a new full time associate able to jump right in and contribute to the team at our Fort Collins location. Our clinic culture emphasizes work-life balance and a work-hard play-hard attitude. The ideal applicant will embrace this culture and have the tools to contribute on day one. You really have to come visit with us to understand the opportunity of working at our clinic.
We currently have two locations with 5 full time and a 1 part time veterinarian with 20+ support staff. The ratio of doctor to tech and tech assistant on a given shift is 1 doctor to 2 techs and assistants. Our clinic is often fast paced seeing regularly scheduled appointments and same day urgent cares. A same day appointment could be anything from an emergency kennel cough booster to a foreign body removal. The ideal candidate will be comfortable taking a suspected FB to surgery the same day they diagnose it. At the same time, we have a collegial environment that loves collaboration, diagnosing and surgerizing emergency cases together. No one is ever on an island.
We also have tremendous mobile specialty support including internal medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, dentistry, oncology, cardiology and rehabilitation. Our specialists routinely perform ultrasounds, echocardiograms, rhinoscopy, endoscopy, orthopedic surgery such TPLO and fracture repair and advanced periodontal procedures such as root canals. When we're stuck on a case, these specialists are a phone call or FaceTime away. They're part of The Pack at Coyote Ridge, don't be surprised when they're at the holiday and summer parties!
A full-time position would offer a competitive pro-sal package (dependent on experience) with a 401K, a health insurance allowance, PTO, sick days, CE allowance, licenses and dues paid. Full-time is considered 3 to 4 days a week (10 hour days) and every third Saturday (8am-2pm). On weeks when associates work a Saturday, they have a three day work week.
