Our well-established veterinary clinic is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Veterinary Associate to join our energetic and collaborative team. Position Details

•       Employment Type: Full Time
•       Schedule: Four (4) days per week, 10-hour shifts
•       No weekend or after-hours emergency coverage required
•       Immediate start available

Requirements

Job Requirements

•       Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Degree: Must possess a DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
•       DEA Registration: Must have a current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration or be eligible to obtain one.
•       State Veterinary License: Must hold a valid veterinary license in good standing in the state of employment.
•       Surgical Skills: Proficient in performing routine and advanced surgical procedures, including spays, neuters, mass removals, and wound repairs.
•       Client Communication: Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients regarding their pets' care, treatment options, and preventive health               measures.
•       Team Collaboration: Willingness to work collaboratively with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and support staff.
•       Continuing Education: Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with veterinary best practices.
•       Record Keeping: Accurate and thorough documentation of patient records and treatment plans.
