Position Overview
Are you a passionate veterinarian with strong surgical skills and a desire to make a positive impact on pets and their owners? Our well-established veterinary clinic is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Veterinary Associate to join our energetic and collaborative team. We have a growing rural community, and a mixed-animal associate would do well.
We take pride in providing exceptional care and education to our community, and we’re looking for someone ready to contribute as both a skilled clinician and a team leader.
Key Responsibilities
Perform surgical procedures with confidence and compassion.
Lead and inspire the veterinary team, fostering a supportive and efficient work environment.
Engage in community outreach and client education to promote pet health and wellness.
Deliver high-quality medical care in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
Position Details
Employment Type: Full Time
Schedule: Four (4) days per week, 10-hour shifts
No weekend or after-hours emergency coverage required for companion animals. On-call for farm animals is possible.

Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited veterinary school
- Active and unrestricted Florida veterinary license, or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to employment
- Proven experience in both small and large animal medicine and surgery
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills across a variety of species
- Excellent interpersonal communication and client-service abilities
- Ability to collaborate in a team setting and take initiative as a leader when needed
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
- Willingness to participate in after-hours emergency rotation as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for farm/house calls
- Dedication to community engagement and upholding the highest standards of veterinary care
