You will be supported by an efficient, educated, upbeat team including an experienced clinic manager and staff who have been doing this with us for years in a clinic that is 5 years old and is still growing. Compensation and Benefits: We recognize that salary expectations among veterinarians can vary widely, and we want to ensure our compensation package meets your individual needs and professional goals. We are fully open to discussing both salary and benefits and encourage open communication regarding what is important to you. Our aim is to provide a competitive offer without setting restrictive suggested or starting salary figures, so that qualified candidates feel welcome to explore opportunities with us. We have been searching for about a month, and we have received a lot of feedback in regard to salary and benefits for the strictly surgeon and strictly medical positions. So, we decided to have you tell us what your preferences are.
Medical Appointments Only:
- We are not a full-service clinic. We do not hospitalize and we do not have x-ray. We have in house blood machines and an outside lab (Antech).
- Develop a relationship with our clients and partner with them to deliver the highest quality patient care possible.
- For part-time work. Appointments begin at 2:30 p.m., booked at 30 minute intervals. The last appointment scheduled at 5:00 p.m.
- For full-time work. Appointments begin at 9:00 a.m. closed for lunch and administrative time 12:30-2:30 appts begin at 2:30. Last appt scheduled at 5:00 p.m.
- Four day work week, we are closed weekends and Wednesdays.
- Walk-ins for vaccinations and heartworm testing are accepted.
- Potential pathway to ownership for interested candidates.
- Average hours 24-26hrs per week.
Benefits:
- Monthly medical insurance reimbursement (HRA), 401(k) with 3% match, and paid professional membership dues.
- Continuing education stipend provided. Supplemental dental, life, and disability insurance options available.
- Eligibility for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program, which may forgive the entire balance of eligible Direct Loans upon meeting all requirements.
- Four-day workweek averaging 40 hours—no weekends, no on-call duties, and no emergencies. Commitment to work-life balance with a 8:45 a.m. start, last appointment at 5:00 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. The clinic is closed on Wednesdays and weekends.
- Six paid holidays, 80 hours of vacation, and 30 hours of paid sick leave.
The opportunity to practice medicine without corporate overhead, with support for adding new service modalities.
Qualifications:
- Ability to advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options, including prescribing medication.
- Provide counseling on end-of-life care for pets.
- Maintain accurate patient medical records.
Leadership qualities and willingness to contribute to the overall health and growth of the program. Interest in community-based medicine serving local rescues and shelter populations. Adherence to veterinary ethics and compliance with relevant statutes, policies, and procedures. Experienced candidates preferred; self-reliant new graduates will also be considered.

Requirements
What we would like you to bring to the team:
Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options. Prescribe medication as needed.
Provide counsel around pet end of life care.
Maintain patients’ medical records.
Desire to be a leader to our team and involved in the overall health and growth of our program.
Interest in grass roots community-based medicine serving local rescues and shelter populations within our program.
Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures.
Must have or be eligibile to obtain GA DVM. We can help navigate that process with you.
Experienced candidates preferred but will definitely consider self-reliant new grads.
