About Kernersville Veterinary Hospital:
Small animal hospital featuring two exam rooms and two surgical suites, plus a dedicated dental station
Comprehensive services including wellness care, dentistry, diagnostic services, surgery, laser therapy, travel certificates, and end-of-life care
Advanced diagnostics: in-house ultrasound, digital radiography, tonopen procedures, and a complete in-house laboratory for efficient and accurate results
Key Responsibilities:
Provide medical leadership and direction for the veterinary team
Oversee and uphold medical standards and protocols across the hospital
Foster a positive, collaborative culture that promotes learning and professional growth
Ensure outstanding client communication and education
Partner with hospital management to meet financial and operational goals
Maintain a balanced schedule of clinical and leadership duties
Qualifications:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited university
Active North Carolina veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
Previous leadership or mentorship experience preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Team-oriented leader who motivates and supports others
Commitment to practicing the highest standard of veterinary medicine
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive base salary up to $140,000, plus production bonuses
Leadership and sign-on bonus opportunities
Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, ancillary coverage, and 401(k)
Generous PTO and a rotating schedule providing large blocks of days off, including weekends — no on-call hours
$2,500 annual CE allowance, plus paid licensing, DEA registration, dues, and fees
