Associate Veterinarian – Roanoke Animal Hospital

Who We’re Looking For
This role is built for an experienced doctor ready to step into a growing and stable general practice environment.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience in small animal clinical practice
Confident with dentistry and soft tissue surgery
Warm, engaging personality—excellent with clients and teammates
Values communication, collaboration, and continuity of care
Comfortable joining a tight-knit team and contributing to hospital culture
Not a new grad role
With a manageable caseload, predictable schedule, and strong support staff, you can focus on doing what you do best: caring for pets and building lasting client relationships.
What You’ll Do
As part of our small animal–only team, you’ll manage:
- Preventive and wellness care
- General surgery (spays/neuters, mass removals, basic soft tissue)
- Dentistry and dental radiography
- Sick/injured patient workups
- Client communication and education
- Shared commitment to maintaining our warm, community-focused culture
