Cat Care Center, located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is a feline-exclusive veterinary hospital purpose-built with consideration for the unique needs and well-being of cats. As a Cat Friendly Gold Status Practice, our facility is intentionally designed to promote a calm environment and deliver exceptional care that respects feline physiology, instincts, and emotional health. Under the direction of Dr. Lacie Lee, an accomplished national speaker, educator, and FelineVMA Board Member, our team remains committed to advancing feline medicine and cultivating growth among veterinary professionals. Our veterinarians utilize advanced diagnostic tools with emerging technologies and actively participate in ongoing clinical trials. We have recently introduced Louisiana’s most advanced, cat-friendly I-131 radioactive iodine suite, positioning Cat Care Center at the forefront of innovative feline healthcare.
Our comprehensive services encompass all areas of feline medicine, including preventative care, caregiver consultations, management of internal medicine comorbidities, dentistry, cardiology, surgery, ultrasonography, and behavioral consultations. In addition, our feline boarding resort and robust community engagement and education programming further support the welfare of cats and their families.

Requirements
We are seeking an experienced veterinarian who shares our commitment to evidence-based feline care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience, be intrinsically self-motivated, possess Cat Friendly certification, demonstrate strong collaboration skills, and have a nuanced understanding of feline behavior and communication. Surgical proficiency in routine soft tissue procedures—including mass removals and gastrointestinal surgeries—dental extractions, and basic ultrasonography is required.
