Tired of Corporations?
Burnt Hills Veterinary Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team. We
are a privately owned, AAHA-accredited, and Fear-Free Certified small animal general
practice that has proudly served our community for over 75 years, providing high-
quality, comprehensive medical and surgical care with kindness and compassion.
Our Team: Our team comprises 10 veterinarians with experience ranging from one year
in practice to over thirty years, supported by a talented group of licensed veterinary
technicians and skilled staff. You’ll also benefit from dedicated support roles that keep
your day running smoothly, like our Patient Care Representative, who keeps clients
informed so you can focus on patient care. We believe in lifelong learning, and every
day begins with doctors’ rounds to share cases and insights. Whether you’re an
experienced clinician or a new graduate, you’ll find a collaborative, supportive team
ready to help you thrive. In 2025, we were honored to be recognized by USA Today as
one of the top veterinary hospitals in the country, a reflection of our team’s dedication,
skill, and compassion.
Our Hospital: Our recently expanded, 14,000-square-foot facility features 14 exam
rooms, two surgical suites, a dedicated dental suite, two comfort rooms, and more.
We’ve also added a conference room for collaboration and the “Peace Pod,” a quiet
space for recharging. Our doctors have access to advanced technology, including a
vessel sealer, ultrasound, endoscopy, oxygen chambers, and complete in-house
laboratory capabilities. We utilize EzyVet for electronic record-keeping and
communications, and Smartflow as our electronic hospital whiteboard.
Our Patients: Our hospital serves cats, dogs, and small mammals, with an average of
125 patients daily and approximately 15 anesthetic procedures performed per day. We
handle everything from routine wellness to complex medical, surgical, and emergency
cases. Our services include orthopedic and soft-tissue surgery, chemotherapy,
rehabilitation, and regenerative therapies such as stem cell and PRP treatments. When
needed, we have strong relationships with a multi-specialty referral hospital and nearby
emergency centers for advanced or after-hours care.
