Requirements
Qualifications
Opportunities for small animal or mixed practice exist. To assist us in taking excellent care of our patients, you should have the following education, experience, and qualities:
- Graduation from an accredited Veterinary Program.
- License to practice Veterinary Medicine in Pennsylvania, or qualify for licensure.
- A positive, friendly demeanor is a must! The team will look to you for leadership and you will be depended upon to help uphold our professional standards and integrity as well as support and participate in our positive practice culture.
- Be knowledgeable and skilled in the practice of veterinary medicine and general soft tissue surgery.
- Possess excellent marketing skills to justify and encourage diagnostic and treatment plans for patients and embolden follow-through by clients.
- A team-oriented mind-set with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
- Continued interest in your professional growth, the growth and success of the practice.
- An educational approach to client communication. The more our clients know - the better care they can take care of their pets!
- An interest in practicing integrative medicine, or bringing a personal specialty to our patients is encouraged.
Hours & Availability
Our current working hours:
Monday: 8am – 5pm
Tuesday: 8am – 5pm
Wednesday: 8am – 4pm
Thursday: 8am – 5pm
Friday: 8am – 5pm
Saturday 8 am – 12 pm (*2 Saturdays per month)
*Our goal is for each member of the team to work up to 40 hours and no more than 5 days per week.
