Veterinary Emergency & Referral Group (VERG) is a leading provider of emergency and specialty veterinary care in the tri-state area, managing over 30,000 cases annually. VERG is committed to advancing the future of veterinary medicine through hands-on learning opportunities for students. Our externship program offers exposure to a fast-paced, high-quality clinical environment, where students can observe experienced doctors in Emergency & Critical Care as well as specialty surgery, including orthopedics, neurosurgery, and soft-tissue procedures. Externs also gain insight into advanced diagnostics such as ultrasound, digital radiography, CT, and MRI.
