Kings & Kingsgate Animal Hospitals are seeking an Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join our growing team!
*Hospitals are located approximately 20 minutes apart on the north side of Cincinnati. Full Time Veterinarian will have the opportunity to work between both locations. Part Time flexibility also available!
Kings Veterinary Hospital is a progressive and well-equipped small animal hospital in a high-end demographic area. We provide top-quality veterinary care with a personalized and compassionate feel. We have continued to steadily grow for the last 20 years and our 6-doctor practice is ready to add an associate, 2 days a week, to see the increasing case overflow. We offer acupuncture, ultrasound, digital radiology, digital dental radiology, a full suite of in-house lab equipment, therapeutic laser therapy, laser surgery, and much more! Our team of doctors work in a collaborative effort to provide the best care available in our area.
Kingsgate Animal Hospital is an affiliated hospital and was purchased by the owner of Kings Veterinary Hospital in March 2017. It is currently a lower volume clinic with amazing, untapped potential. Also located in a high-end demographic area, Kingsgate has already increased sales 25% in the past year and continues to grow steadily each month. We are well-equipped with digital radiography, and in-house laboratory equipment. Future plans for this location include the potential for laser surgery, digital dental radiography, building expansion, and increased days of operation to mirror Kings Veterinary Hospital. Kingsgate is currently a 1-doctor practice, and is now ready to add an additional associate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays to perform surgery in the mornings and see appointments in the afternoon. Weekend rotation will be every other Saturday appointments.

In addition to the responsibilities outlined below, the Associate Veterinarian is an invaluable member of the hospital team who works directly with a Managing Doctor and supporting medical staff. This individual advances the quality of medicine in the practice and provides exceptional client service to our clients and patients.
Builds rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to, and empathizing with their concerns
Performs physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort.
Communicates with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needs.
Maintains client/patient medical/surgical records and makes certain all necessary logs are kept up-to-date through established protocols.
Stays current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine.
Assists in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure delivery of the highest quality care and exceptional client service.
Presents a positive image of the hospital in the professional community and to the general public.
Skills and Basic Qualifications
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Ohio
Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Works collaboratively with hospital team members.
Makes decisions confidently and effectively.
Manages time and tasks appropriately.
Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients.
