Experienced Veterinarian or strong new graduate 20 minutes from South Bend for collaborative fun small animal practice
Great rural progressive 3 veterinarian privately owned small animal hospital in Cassopolis, MI seeks experienced veterinarian or strong new graduate who enjoys fast-paced medicine and would like the opportunity to pursue some additional professional interests. We’re 20 minutes from South Bend and one hour from Kalamazoo. We value family and work-life balance. Dr. Moore, our owner has created a family-oriented warm caring hospital. He grew up in a small town and that’s why he was attracted to Cassopolis. It’s close enough to bigger cities but yet retains its rural foundations. He is a kind and patient teacher. He highly values learning and supports additional training beyond routine continuing education in areas that benefit you and the practice. We are very professional but also laid back; we work in scrubs! Dr. Murphy, our associate, feels ‘there is not a person here that you don’t like.’ She is an experienced veterinarian and feels Dr. Moore is the best owner she has ever worked with.

Qualities we’re looking for in an associate:
-ability to connect and have compassion for clients, pets, and staff,
-enjoy working and having fun,
-passion for work,
-ability to do simple soft tissue surgeries; however, if you’re interested in developing your surgical techniques, Dr. Moore would be willing to teach more complicated surgeries and some orthopedics,
-good understanding of internal medicine.
We have 5 well-equipped exam rooms, 1 large surgery suite, digital whole body, and dental x-ray, endoscope, ultrasound, Cornerstone
Generous flat salary (could be six figures plus $5K signing bonus, 100% medical insurance, simple IRA retirement plan, $2500-3000 continuing medical education plus 5-6 days off, $1500 relocation expenses.
