Kansas State University Veterinary Health Center (VHC) is accepting applications from qualified individuals for a one-year Food Animal Medicine/Surgery Intern. Medical internships at the Veterinary Health Center are post-DVM clinical programs. Interns work for 12 months in a variety of services.
Primary Care – provide primary clinical service in the livestock services section
Daytime primary emergency duty – provide daytime emergency care in the livestock services section
Overnight emergency duty – after hours emergency duty on a rotating basis
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
DVM or equivalent
Graduate of a College of Veterinary Medicine
The successful applicant must apply for a Kansas Veterinary Institutional License
