39 year Well-Established but Growing, Progressive, Newly Equipped and Recently Renovated Mixed Animal Practice 50 miles south of Dallas in Corsicana, TX.  Business Hours: Mon thru Fri 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.  45-hour routine work week.

Externship program to meet your large and/or small animal needs. Perform complete physical exams Perform diagnostic and therapeutic plans for patients/clients. Scrub into soft tissue, orthopedic (if available) and routine surgeries. Assist in the management of medical cases. Provide wellness, routine, urgent, and emergency care. Expand your client communication skills. Refine your clinical/technical skills.

Housing, bedding, etc. supplied, if needed.  You may bring your own pillow and towels, if desired, but they are also provided. Plan to arrive early so you may see what, if anything, is needed (food, toiletries, etc.). Rogers Animal Hospital is a busy, growing, very diversified, mixed animal practice with excellent clientele. Join a dedicated team whose goal is to provide our loyal clientele with the best medical care and customer service that mainstream veterinary medicine has to offer. Our expansions include a Small Animal Surgery suite, Large Animal Hospital, two hydraulic cattle chutes, and new pipe hospital pens on 3 acres. We have an Abaxis in house lab, digital radiology, ultrasonography, and a friendly, family oriented style of practice with excellent support staff. We have FUN and ENJOY our work. Our Small Animal Hospital covers approximately 9,000 sq. ft. and has recently remodeled exam rooms and offices, a new small animal surgery and separate recovery suite, treatment room, grooming areas and kennels. The Large Animal Hospital has been doubled in size to 7,200 sq. ft. of covered treatment and hospitalization stalls. Additionally, we offer Mobile Veterinary services with a 2013 Chevrolet truck and Bowie mobile unit. Live, work and play in a small town setting with lots of recreational opportunities: fishing and water sports at Richland Chambers Reservoir with 330 miles of... shoreline, bowling, museums, winery, 2nd largest planetarium in TX, stadium megaplex theatre and gaming center. Historic and diverse, Corsicana's arts district is home to professional art exhibitions, professional performing and visual arts, concerts and touring acts as well as local talent. The Corsicana Country Club offers an eighteen-hole championship golf course designed by world renowned golf course architect A.W. Tillinghast.
