CPH is a full service hospital seeing a mix of preventative care and sick-patient appointments. We are committed to practicing a high standard of medicine and our hospitals are equipped with modern technology such as digital radiography, IDEXX in-house laboratory, therapeutic laser, ultrasound, high-speed dental equipment and digital dental radiography. The practice owners take a sincere interest in professional development and provide excellent mentorship and support while Associates maintain primary case responsibility. Our hospital is staffed with a knowledgeable and responsive Office Manager, skilled LVTs, and Fear-Free Certified employees. CPH achieved AAHA Accreditation in 2019.
Our practice seeks a bright, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our team as a full or part-time Associate Veterinarian. Applicants must be knowledgeable about preventative care, and competence in dentistry and general medicine and surgery is required. Independent case work-ups are encouraged and we routinely collaborate with mobile specialists for in-house consultations. Our practice strives to provide exemplary customer service and create life-long relationships with clients, thus excellent people skills are essential.
As a family-friendly practice, we recognize the importance of a work/life balance and encourage establishing healthy boundaries. Full-time Associates work an equivalent of four days a week with alternate Saturdays (half day) with no on-call duties. Several Emergency and Specialty Centers are conveniently located for after-hours care and specialist referrals if needed. We are willing to consider creating a flexible schedule that allows for a mix of daytime and evening hours, to better serve your needs and those of our clientele. Full-time schedule consists of ~40 hours per week; typically 4 full weekdays and alternate Saturdays (half day). We are open to a flexible schedule of part-day shifts or extended hours.
Part-time schedules are negotiable.
A Positive Attitude and Communication Skills are essential.
Proficiency in General Medicine and Preventative Care is required.
Proficiency in General Soft Tissue Surgery is required. Typical caseload includes spay, neuter, mass removal, cystotomy, and laceration repair. **A special interest in surgery is a bonus!
Proficiency in Dentistry is required, including interpretation of dental radiographs and surgical extractions. **Additional CE support for advanced training is available!

Additional Salary Information: Salary commensurate with experience. Pro-Sal basis negotiable. 2+ weeks paid vacation. $1000 minimum CE Allowance.
