Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists (GCVS) is currently seeking a full-time or part-time small animal emergency veterinarian to join its growing 24/7 emergency service! The well-established emergency service is located in a brand new 25,000 sq ft facility. GCVS is also in the process of building a state-of-the-art 51,000 sq ft facility projected to open shortly. GCVS has 60 doctors across fourteen specialty practices including Surgery and Orthopedics, Internal Medicine, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Critical Care, Dentistry and Oral Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Animal Rehabilitation and Fitness, Sports Medicine, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology and Allergy, Avian and Exotics, Cardiology and the recently added Anesthesia specialty.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated with excellent multi-tasking skills and can contribute to our high standard of patient care, client service, and collaboration with specialists and local referring veterinarians. You will have the opportunity to grow professionally with the hospital and build and sustain strong relationships with referring colleagues, clients, and support staff. Veterinarians with managerial experience would be welcomed as there are opportunities for leadership within the hospital
