Animal Medical of New City is a 2 1/4 doctor practice in New City, New York and we are seeking a full time or part time enthusiastic veterinarian to add to our already stellar team. Our hospital has been part of the community for 35 years and become known as the “go-to” veterinary hospital in the area for advanced care, second opinions, and compassionate service.
New City is a bedroom community of New York City and is less than 50 minutes away from the Big Apple by car or train. Nearby Harriman State park provides easily accessible opportunities to hike, swim, and bike. The area offers local shopping, restaurants, and fine dining in the nearby communities of Nyack and Piermont.

We are a progressive hospital, obtaining the Gold Standard in Cat Friendly Practice from AAFP and our team is also trained in using Fear Free techniques. Our hospital is fully equipped with an extensive inventory of diagnostic tools including abdominal and cardiac ultrasound, and a full complement of endoscopes and laparoscopes, which we use routinely. We have a robust dentistry department that includes a digital radiography and a dental surgical suite where we regularly perform advanced dental and oral surgery procedures.
