Who are we?
East York Veterinary Center is proud to celebrate 30 years serving our community! We were founded in 1990 by our fearless leader, Dr. Valerie Miller. She set out on a mission to provide the gold standard in veterinary medicine in a state-of-the-art, friendly, family-oriented practice. As we embark on our 30th year, our reputation and legacy has stayed true to our original vision.
EYVC is located in southeastern Pennsylvania and is conveniently located near Lancaster, Harrisburg, Gettysburg, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, D.C. Who you are (and why we can’t wait to meet you!)
You are a compassionate Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) licensed to practice first-rate pet healthcare in the state of Pennsylvania. You are an excellent communicator. Clients are on board when you deliver their pet’s diagnosis and treatment plan. They trust you with the care of their fur-babies, even if it means surgery or other diagnostic procedures! You effectively educate clients, empowering them with confidence to make informed decisions.
Peers trust you. Staff looks to you for motivational leadership and sound direction that follows our mission and values. You are compliant in following medical care standards and health record protocols. You represent EYVC with professional, enthusiastic pride – on and off the hospital campus!
Now, a little more about us (and how awesome we are)
We welcome most pet species*! Canine, feline, avian; reptiles; aquatics; backyard fowl; as well as some wildlife are seen. Our resident Hospital Pets living in the public Atrium are: A Bearded Dragon, Large Cichlid Aquariums; and current SPCA cats for adoption. You will never be bored with the abundant fluffy, scaly, pawed & clawed friends around! ?*Experience in all species not required.
Our owner has served on the Board of Directors for the progressive YC SPCA for over 30 years, our hospital proudly serves as a satellite-adoption-location for the shelter.
We have monthly Management, All Staff, and 1:1 Doctor meetings to help cultivate a supportive environment and cohesive teamwork. EYVC has an amazing facility on beautiful grounds.
