The Veterinary Emergency Center of Manchester is seeking a full-time emergency veterinarian to join our established and well respected hospital. Our hospital, located in southern New Hampshire, provides the perfect opportunity for the clinician intent on practicing high quality medicine and surgery in a state of the art, progressive setting. We are the only VECCS certified facility in New Hampshire, with a dedicated and experienced team of doctors, CVTs and support staff who provide 24/7 care to the greater Manchester and surrounding areas. Daily patient rounds and frequent case discussions are an important part of our hospital culture. We pride ourselves on an enjoyable, supportive, and dynamic work environment with a very low turnover rate. Our spacious new (6/2020) facility includes a full in-house laboratory (including coagulation and blood gas analysis), digital radiography, a LOGIQ P5 ultrasound machine, blood pressure monitoring, ECG telemetry, oxygen cages, and a well-equipped ICU and pharmacy. Our operating room contains all the tools necessary for soft tissue emergency surgery including a Ligasure vessel sealing unit. We have ultrasound availability 7 days/week by boarded internists as well as board certified surgical support availability. Additionally, on site outpatient ultrasounds are often referred for full case workups +/- surgery. This full-time position has a rotating schedule that includes three full weekends off per five weeks. The ideal candidate would have emergency experience and be comfortable with soft tissue surgery.
