Location

Our practice is located in Belton, Texas, in between Austin and Waco. We have tons of outdoor activities to keep you busy year-round. We are close to many lakes, you can go boating, kayaking, or fishing! If you love the outdoors, we would almost guarantee there is no better place to live.  

Practice Overview

At Belton Veterinary Clinic, we are a proud mixed animal practice. Start each of your days with a variety of cases, from doing a suture to birthing a calf! Our mixed animal practice is radically different, we see about 25% of large animals. We have a laidback team that takes great pride in providing high-quality veterinary medicine. We promote a culture of collaboration and allow our doctors the freedom to spearhead decisions. Our clinic is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, laser, endoscopy, and a hydraulic and manual tilt chute for cattle. We also have small and large animal surgical suites and an equine reproduction facility. If you are looking for a place to demonstrate your skillset and ignite your career, this is it!

What You’ll Be Working On

• Build and maintain client relationships and educate on treatment options for the animals
• Manage and treat a diverse caseload of species
• Basic surgical skills preferred, not required

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required
• Able to be licensed in Texas
• Must be willing to work with all species
• Experience in a mixed animal practice preferred
• Experience in a small animal medicine preferred
• Willing to work rotating on-call services to support our community of clients
• Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for high-quality medicine and continuous learning
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
