JOB SUMMARY

Battelle is seeking a Veterinarian Surgeon to perform surgical and non-surgical procedures, veterinary care, and physiologic evaluations associated with sponsored preclinical study execution and research and development objectives. The position requires clinical experience with laboratory animal species, proficiency in qualitative and quantitative clinical evaluations and competency with surgical techniques and the acquisition of new procedural skills.

Requirements:

• DVM/VMD degree from AVMA-accredited institution with licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the United States.
• Licensure to practice veterinary medicine in at least one U.S. state
• USDA accreditation or application submitted within 1 month of hire
• Two or more years of clinical experience in an academic or industry setting in either USDA or FDA regulated environment preferred.
• US persons as defined by US export control laws.
• Laboratory experience working with in vivo models.
