Lakeland Animal Care was co-founded and is owned and operated by two great friends native to the Michiana area in Northern Indiana. The foundation of our hospital is based on solid relationships and that continues to be our focus. We are fortunate enough to have grown by leaps and bounds all while maintaining an excellent reputation in our community. Recently, we expanded into a 5,500sqft facility! Our hospital is located in a safe, family friendly, affluent area with top rated schools. We truly enjoy our community and pride ourselves on giving back. Involvement with local schools, sponsoring charitable events and athletics, and our ever popular Summer Vet Camp are just a few of the reasons we smile!

Our passion for veterinary medicine has created an environment centered around developing meaningful relationships and helping pets live longer, happier lives. Our longer 30min appointment times allow us to be thorough so we can offer the best diagnostics and treatment options available. Yes, our hospital has all the bells and whistles, too - digital radiography, dental DR, ultrasonography with specialist interpretation, NIBP, bair hugger, in-house lab/pharmacy, endoscopy, EKG with cardiologist review, outside lab with internal medicine consultations! Our well-educated veterinary care team is here to share the workload and is well versed in client education (6:1 staff:doctor ratio!). We are known in the community for our compassionate bedside manner and being highly skilled in soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, critical care, oncology, and hospice care. At Lakeland Animal Care, we go to great lengths to help our patients. From blood transfusions to emergency surgeries to chemotherapy, our team has a wealth of knowledge and the expertise to treat even the toughest of cases.

NO WEEKENDS or after-hours emergencies!! $20K Sign-On BONUS and generous ProSal compensation, $120,000 - $160,000+/yr. Schedule is flexible - 4 day work week considered FT. Potential for buy-in/profit sharing! Benefits package includes medical, dental, CE, 3 weeks PTO, holiday pay, IRA, licenses, dues, VIN, pet discount program, scrubs and more.
