Day & Evening Pet Hospital & Surgical Center is now hiring an amazing Veterinary Technician to join our team!

The ideal candidate:

  • Minimum 2-years experience
  • Compassionate, enthusiastic, can stay calm and efficient during a medical crisis and stress
  • Able to work and maintain composure in a busy work environment, up to 130 patients a day
  • Willing to work long hours if needed (12 hours shifts and Saturdays)

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Effectively perform venipuncture
  • IV Catheter placement
  • Animal restraint
  • Effectively position for and take digital X-Rays
  • Implement clinical lab preparation and interpret various lab tests
  • Handle the client's medical questions with confidence
