| Beaver Meadow Veterinary Clinic is a thriving small animal practice nestled at the base of the Adirondack Mountains in Upstate New York. We have the ideal location for outdoor enthusiasts with endless hiking trails and lakes right in your backyard! If you are looking for a change of scenery on your days off, take a quick day trip to Syracuse or Albany or hop on the train for a weekend in New York City. We are a privately owned practice and place a strong emphasis on a healthy work/life balance. Our veterinarians rotate Saturdays (typically one Saturday per month) and are not required to be "on call" at this time. We have a talented, close-knit work family consisting of three veterinarians, nine technicians, and eight receptionists and kennel attendants. We boast a growing, supportive, positive, and compliant client base with some unique patients! In addition to dogs, cats, and exotics, we also provide veterinary care for the AZA accredited Utica Zoo! If you are not comfortable with exotics or zoo medicine, you DO NOT need to see these patients! For all of your patients, you will have plenty of quality diagnostic tools at your fingertips including: digital DR radiology, ultrasound, dental x-ray, and a laboratory complete with CBC, chemistry, and urine analyzers.
