We are looking for a courteous, motivated, hardworking veterinarian that can work independently and understands the importance of client care, communication, and our service-based approach. We are a progressive yet practical practice, and we pride ourselves in being very personable and down to earth Emergency work is often very similar to your typical day time Veterinary position with most of the cases being gastrointestinal, skin, lameness, eye, and ear issues. We have a fully trained support staff that has been working with us that will guide you and make your shift as the Veterinarian run smoothly. Further someone would always be a phone call away and available should you have any questions with procedures or surgeries that are outside your comfort zone. Emergency shifts offer you a chance to work fewer days in the week, support and build relationships with local referring veterinarians, receive exceptional pay, and allow you to practice the best medicine possible with updated equipment and technological capabilities on site at your disposal. We offer digital x-ray, ultrasound, laser surgery, in house laboratory, tonopen, IV pumps, oxygen cage, isolation ward, advanced surgical monitoring (EKG, body temperature, heart rate, capnography, respiratory rate, pulseOx and blood pressure) and more allowing us to offer exceptional standard of care. Our Hospital has been servicing the greater Baton Rouge and surrounding areas for the past 30 years, and we are known for our exceptional customer service and patient care. As a Veterinarian you will gain valuable experience at Baton Rouge Animal Hospital and Baton Rouge Pet Emergency Hospital.
