We are a collaborative group of DVMs primarily focusing on modern, ethical and comprehensive small animal medicine with a growing exotics case load.
Our doctors enjoy being able to challenge the status quo and continuously push to offer better medicine and new therapies to our patients. We strive to be able to provide our patients with all the resources, treatments and surgeries in-clinic that we can. We are not reckless, but enjoy a good challenge and love to continuously better ourselves and our medicine offerings.
We encourage our doctors to actively participate in business decisions and practice development. This means, if you feel we need to refocus in a specific area, develop a weakness that we have, or market better what we do well - we're all ears!
We work as a fun, positive, supportive team. Discussing cases and brainstorming in an effort to maximize excellent patient outcomes and client satisfaction. Find the humor in our everyday routines and celebrate our successes.
Appointment times with clients are 30minutes at minimum. We want to be efficient, but a priority for us is client education and relationship building. We want our clients to feel informed, have buy-in and leave without questioning what the plan is for their pet, or where their money went.
We work with several well-organized rescue groups that help us to not have to say 'no' to the animals in dire need. You know the cases that could be cured or saved if there were funds available or more time. This not only allows us to broaden our surgical and medical skills, but brings with it a break from the emotional turmoil of saying no, we can't help.
We believe in excellent compensation while fostering a non-competitive collegial atmosphere free of drama - that means no Pro-Sal. No upselling, no bill padding. Client education about why and what we want to do in an honest and compassionate manner is all we need.
Time off - we want everyone to enjoy their lives, families and be human beings. Everyone gets a set day off weekly and 3-day weekend once a month. We are also game to discuss alternative schedules that might better suit individual preferences.
Finally, we love to teach! We frequently have interns/externs, high school CVA students and volunteers at the practice. We believe in fostering a love for veterinary medicine that starts with the next generation of youth.
This is who we are, and we are seeking to add a colleague who wants to join us in our daily pursuit of excellence.
