Angel Animal Hospital is a small-animal practice in the Southeast Houston area that has been serving the community for over 50 years. Our practice culture focuses on customer service and excellent patient care, and we really value the relationships with our clients that we have built over the years. We also value our staff and work hard to create a pleasant atmosphere and environment where we can enjoy what we do.

Our normal hours are Monday through Friday from 8-6, and two Saturdays per month from 8-12. Our doctors each have one regular weekday off. We are closed Sundays and refer all after hours emergencies to a local emergency clinic. Typically our appointments are scheduled 30 minutes for wellness or less-complicated cases and 45 minutes for sick or complex cases. We offer basic surgical services, but currently do not offer any orthopedic or specialty surgeries.

Our hospital moved to a remodeled facility about 6 years ago that was fully updated. It offers 5 exam rooms, separate cat and dog waiting areas & kennel areas, a surgical suite, treatment area with two wet tables, dental x-ray, a separate lab with digital X-ray and Idexx equipment (Catalyst, Procyte, Sedivue, Coag, SNAP readers), an isolation ward, and Cornerstone software.

Our owner, Dr. Gotcher, has been practicing over 40 years and we also have several very experienced associates that collaborate and work together and can provide strong mentorship and guidance. We also have many very experienced technicians that are highly trained and utilized. We have a great team.
