Gentle Vet Animal Hospital has established itself in the Green Bay, WI community since the 1970s as a full-service veterinary hospital. We continue to grow and thrive in this community by providing kind and compassionate animal care.  Due to our growth, you'll get to enjoy a brand new hospital building by 2024!

No two days are the same when you work at Gentle Vet Animal Hospital. You will be both challenged and inspired as you help save animals and clients. You’ll work on the cutting edge of veterinary medicine and develop your skills in ways you never could at a traditional practice.

Our expert team of vets specializes in treating small animals, avian, and exotics! We see a large number of complicated dog and cat medical cases. We also service a local wildlife sanctuary and zoo.

We are consistently striving for excellence and are proud to have received ‘Low-Stress Handling Silver Certification’ in 2012, again in 2015, and recertifying right now!

About You:

We think you’ll enjoy being a part of our team if you are looking to take your veterinary career to the next level and get direct access to work with exotic animals! Working alongside a collaborative, small, and quality-focused team you will get to: 

• Provide care to a wide range of domestic and to exotic animals
• Ensure the wellbeing, safety and comfort of patients
• Provide medical and surgical diagnostics, treatment, and preventative care according to national standards and hospital policy
• Provide compassionate, efficient service to our clients
• Educate the public about animal conditions and care 
• Oversee the duties and functions of the technicians, assistants, and caretakers 
• Get involved in the community through service
• Build the practice through high quality care and professional service to each other and our clients

We are looking for experienced full-time vets but encourage part-time applicants and new graduates seeking mentorship to apply as well!
