Amazing opportunities await you, here at HAH!
We at Heritage Animal Hospital are seeking 2-3 experienced veterinarians or exceptional new graduates to assist our ever growing client base.
For more than 40 years, Heritage has been locally owned and practicing in the historical town of Terre Haute, Indiana! We are a large, fast paced, multi-doctor practice with two hospitals located conveniently at the north and south ends of town. Our hospitals are mostly small animal based, mixed with some exotic pets. If your interest is in more exotic options, contact us, we would love to broaden our patient scope!
Here at Heritage you would have full access to our in-house laboratory that includes Zoetis Vetscan and CBC, Vetscan VUE, Vetscan UA, Vetscan Imagyst, PT/PTT testing, plasma/blood transfusions, digital radiology, ultrasound, Digatherm, modern dental machine with drill, CO2 Surgical Laser, Companion Animal Therapy laser, Tonovet, Endoscopy, and LigaSure Vessel Sealer. Going beyond our technical equipment, our veterinarians are also assisted by a highly skilled team of compassionate staff, including RVTs that have exceptional technical skills and are dedicated to providing outstanding client service.
The ideal candidate would be mature, confident, demonstrate strong communication and mentoring skills, and possess experience in primary care medicine, dentistry, and surgery. Our staff has a positive outlook and a “can do” attitude. Being team players, we provide a family-like environment that many long-term, loyal, clients boast about.
The position will require some weekends, holidays, and after hours’ emergency rotation, that is shared with all associate veterinarians. Emergency on call has an average of 6 nights per month per doctor. We care about the well-being of our doctors, so these extra hours are flexible. We also offer a competitive compensation/benefits package to help with these extra hours!
Our benefits package includes, but is not limited to, competitive salary that is set, and not based on production, paid PLIT insurance, paid vacation, annual continuing education allowance, potential housing, potential relocation bonus, paid veterinarian and DEA licensing fees, paid AVMA & IVMA membership dues, Simple IRA, and more.
We have the equipment. We have the staff. Now all we need is you!
