Southern Regional Veterinary Emergency Services began in 2009, and proudly serves Dothan, Alabama, and the surrounding areas. Known for being one of the most progressive cities in its area, it offers residents modern amenities with a southern charm. It is conveniently located a few miles away from both Florida and Georgia’s state lines, which allows quick access for those much-deserved get-a-ways!

Practice Overview

Here at Southern Regional Veterinary Specialists, our goal is to provide an educational and stress-free experience for all of our clients. We do this by providing a positive and collaborative work environment for our staff. Our team consists of passionate veterinary professionals who not only challenge themselves but also each other to be innovative while maintaining the eagerness to continuously learn and grow. We understand the value of having a work-life balance, which is why we offer an abbreviated working schedule where you alternate two to three days per week. If you are searching for a practice committed to practicing high-quality medicine as well as high quality of life, then we want to speak with you!

What You’ll Be Working On

• Build and maintain client relationships
• Diagnose, treat and manage a variety of small companion animal cases
• Provide education to clients and staff on recommendations and choices in care
• Maintain a positive work environment
• Guide, utilize, and mentor exceptional support staff

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program required
• Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Alabama
• Highly motivated, with a desire to lead our amazing team
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Demonstrated compassion for patients and clients
• Ability to collaborate and work within a team environment
