River Run Animal Hospital is a privately owned small animal hospital on the east side of Charlotte, close to Lake Wylie, the South Carolina border and the U.S. National Whitewater Center. We opened our doors in January 2020 and we are growing quickly!  At River Run, we are committed to providing exceptional veterinary care and client service. We believe educated owners raise healthy animals and we are dedicated to ensuring that owners understand the range of options that best serves their pet. We treat clients as family members and care for their pet as if they were our own. At River Run we incorporate the Fear Free approach in all aspects of practice and patient care.  The practice is equipped with an in-house laboratory, cytology consult capability (Imagyst), digital full body and dental radiology, dental scaler/ polisher/ high speed drill unit and a large surgical suite. 

We are currently in search of one full- or part-time Associate Veterinarian to help grow our practice. Only 1 Saturday per month (8am-noon), and no after hours! The candidate needs to be compassionate, driven, and willing to accept fear free approaches to patient care.  Experience is preferred, however we will entertain new graduate applications as well. A plus is a candidate with avian/pocket pet experience.  It is an exciting time at our practice! Come join us and experience the thrill of getting to grow a new practice.
