We are a single-owned, non-corporate small animal hospital in northern Cincinnati just minutes from several growing communities in Monroe, Liberty Township, West Chester, and Mason. We value time spent with family and friends outside of work and strive for a work life balance. Our practice is looking for another veterinarian with strong communication skills who values a relationship style of veterinary medicine with clients. We value client education, someone who is comfortable with soft tissue and oral surgeries, a confident individual who can multi-task well and see patients efficiently. Our office team is small yet we all have great personalities that get along and we enjoy having fun working together for a common goal of providing great veterinary care. We are hoping to gain another veterinarian to add to our single doctor team and are open to a part-time or full-time additional veterinarian at this time. Start date is flexible.
We primarily see felines and canines at this time. We strive for low stress visits for patients. We also have thirty minute appointments to be able to communicate services with owners. We have several specialists if needed to refer to so our clients can receive the best care for their pets.
We have new equipment including new computer work stations, digital radiographs and digital dental radiographs. We have resources for additional access to VIN and Plumb's. We do not have any on call or overnight responsibilities. We do not hospitalize pets over the weekend. We also believe in doctors having a standing day off a week to be able to plan their personal lives and commitments. We do work some Saturdays but only half a day from 8 am to 1 pm.
Benefits include: CE stipend, dues to OVMA and AVMA, professional licensure, combined paid time off for vacation and sick days, 401k with up to 3% match, competitive salary, signing bonus is negotiable.
Our goal is to hire a veterinarian who has been in practice or a new graduate who is desiring mentorship. We ultimately would require a veterinarian to be able to strongly communicate diagnostic plans to clients and be able to see appointments efficiently. Other job requirements will be to perform and become comfortable with soft tissue and oral surgeries.
