Austin Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center (AVES) is seeking a Full-Time or Relief Small Animal Emergency Doctor for its rapidly growing emergency and specialty hospital in Austin, TX. AVES desires an emergency veterinarian that is self-motivated with excellent multi-tasking skills that can contribute to our high standard of patient care, client service, and comprehensive communication. We are interested in speaking with experienced ER DVMs, internship trained DVMs, and new grads or GP DVMs who have an interest in emergency medicine. ER Mentorship is available!
The qualified candidate will have the opportunity to grow professionally with the hospital and sustain strong relationships with referring colleagues, clients, and support staff. This is a unique opportunity to work in a team of top-notch emergency doctors and specialists in a rapidly growing emergency and specialty practice. Our specialty services currently include Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Oncology, Cardiology, and Dentistry.
This multi-disciplinary hospital was created in 2014 by partners of Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists (Houston, TX) and Mission Veterinary Specialist (San Antonio, TX) as well as Dr. Don Hulse, DACVS, DECVS and Dr. Lindsay Vaughn, DACVECC. In 2016, AVES partnered with the Compassion-First Pet Hospital to accelerate their growth and network with other best-in-class specialty and emergency hospitals.
