LOCATION : Hopkinton, Massachusetts, a town in Middlesex County, 26 miles west of Boston. The town is best known as the starting point of the Boston Marathon.

THE COMPANY : MASH – Main Street Animal Services of Hopkinton, is seeking a full time integrative veterinarian to join our dynamic team! MASH is an internationally recognized leader in integrative veterinary medicine. We offer conventional veterinary medicine and alternative therapies in a balanced whole health approach to healthcare. Our goal is to support the pet’s vital energy for good health and self-healing.

We use nutrition, acupuncture, homeopathy, ozone, and other modalities combined with traditional diagnostics, to optimize pet’s health. From well visits to chronic disease, we offer medicine that respects the integrity of the pet’s mind and body.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a MASH Veterinarian, you will be responsible for leveraging a robust set of tools to get a complete view and provide whole-pet healthcare. You will be exposed to the most recent advances in holistic and alternative approaches to animal wellness. The ideal candidate will have been working in alternative medicine. Commitment to client service and strong interpersonal skills are a must as well as a dedication to maintaining a positive work environment and fostering strong relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide the highest quality of care to our clients by phone, email and in person

Perform general procedures, surgery, and dentistry

Excellent decision-making skills to aid in choosing appropriate treatment methods

Educate clients on different modalities offered at MASH

Dose supplements and prescriptions

QUALIFICATIONS:

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Passion for integrative medicine

Experience with alternative and conventional medicine is helpful but not required

Ability to communicate well with animal owners, staff members, and colleagues

We have an opening at Main Street Animal Services of Hopkinton, Massachusetts (MASH) to bring on another veterinarian, as we expand to serve our growing client base. MASH is a leader in New England in integrative veterinary care. Dr. Margo Roman, an internationally acclaimed veterinarian, has spent over 37 years leading this practice and wants to have other veterinarians share in working on exciting cases. Clients travel from all over the northeast to MASH for treatments in medical ozone, UVBI, MicroBiome Restorative Therapy (MBRT), acupuncture, homeopathy, herbal, functional medicine, and many other forms of both holistic and conventional care. We take real time to understand our patient’s unique history, interpret what may have caused the condition(s), and build a treatment plan with the client to lead the animal to better health and well-being. We have had tremendous success with our integrative approach; every week we see new clients watch their animals completely transform from sick and uncomfortable to healthy and playful. We offer a learning experience of a lifetime, as you would work side-by-side with Dr. Roman, a life-long learner, who has spent years studying an...d practicing dozens of modalities (e.g., she was the first veterinary woman to take the acupuncture course in the U.S. in the 70’s). Salary ranges from $100,000-$130,000 depending on experience and can grow as your skills grow.
