Washington Ave Animal Hospital is now hiring an associate veterinarian to join our 7 doctor team! We opened our doors in October 2020, after building a brand new, state of the art facility with 2 surgery suites, a dentistry suite, and isolation ward. Washington Ave Animal Hospital is strategically located in the heart of Philadelphia between Graduate Hospital and Point Breeze, two rapidly growing neighborhoods. We see wellness appointments, sick appointments, and urgent care visits 7 days a week, 8am-8pm. We perform dental procedures and open body surgeries Monday through Friday. We have extended appointments for exams and leverage the skill sets of our nurses and assistants to allow time for doctors to focus on diagnostics, treatment plans, and client education. We consistently strive to make a positive impact on pet health in Philadelphia.
Our hospital culture is centered around providing a compassionate and elevated standard of care with learning, teaching, and diversity as our main pillars. We host lunch and learn lectures and wet labs for our staff, externships to provide training to students, and community outreach including low cost vaccine clinics.
